  • Why this patent rocks: This patent involves the ‘School of Rock Method’, developed by the School of Rock; a music school that takes a performance-based spin to their music education. Students are taught classic songs and, from there, learn music technique and theory, which is where this patent comes in to support their education. Using their School of Rock Method app, students are given the tools to learn assigned songs, complete exercises, and play in a band. Behind the app is the School of Rock Method Engine technology which is a ‘massive multi-variable database that maps shows, songs, instruments, levels, and skills.’ See here for more information on the School of Rock method for music education.
