Russell IP to Co-Lead Patents Rock Workshop

What the Patents Rock Workshop Will Cover

We are excited to announce that Iain Russell, Founder and Director at Russell IP, will be co-leading an exclusive workshop, Patents Rock: Strategies for Music Tech Innovators, alongside Russell IP client Rob Toulson, Founder of RT60. Iain is well known for his passion for music tech and patents, so is very much looking forward to being able to discuss both topics with others with shared interests. Russell IP has particular expertise in music tech patents; see our dedicated music tech offering, Patents Rock®, to find out more about how we help protect music tech innovation.

The Patents Rock workshop is designed to help music tech innovators gain practical insights into patent protection and strategy. Attendees will learn how to transform their music tech innovations into protected assets that:

  • Attract investors;
  • Deter competitors; and
  • Build long-term business value.

Rob will share practical examples from his own patent journey, while Iain will provide the strategic expertise that music tech founders need to navigate the patent landscape effectively.

How The Workshop Will Be Structured

The Patents Rock workshop will be broken down into three sections:

  1. The strategic case for patents;
  2. Filing a strong patent application and responding to examiners; and
  3. Financial strategy and advanced considerations.

Any delegates who would like to have a conversation with Iain about their own innovations and patent strategies will be able to arrange a follow-up conversation.

When and Where The Workshop Will Take Place

This interactive event will take place on Tuesday 14 October, 18:00–20:00 at the House of Music and Entertainment, London.

To register for the Patents Rock workshop and find out more, visit the event page. Spaces are limited, so please sign up now to avoid disappointment.
