Why this design patent rocks: This design patent appears to relate to Teenage Engineering AB’s ‘Pocket Operator’, a miniature programmable synthesiser and sequencer with built in sounds and effects. With no outer case, it consists of a single multiple-layer circuit board using components placed under the LCD display. Teenage Engineering AB claims that these are ‘small, ultra-portable music devices, with studio quality sound’.
